Marilyn Hacker

Marilyn Hacker is the author of fifteen books of poems, most recently Blazons
(Carcanet Press, 2019) and A Stranger’s Mirror (W.W. Norton, 2015); two collaborative
books, A Different Distance, written with Karthika Naïr (Milkweed, 2021), and
Diaspo/Renga, written with Deema K. Shehabi (Holland Park Press, 2014). Her twenty
translations from the French include Samira Negrouche’s The Olive Trees’ Jazz (Pléiades
Press, 2020), and Jean-Paul de Dadelsen’s That Light, All at Once (Yale University Press,
2020).
