Marc-Antoine Serra is a multidisciplinary French artist – graphic designer, art director, curator, photographer, filmmaker, and occasional painter. Serra was born in 1971, in Arles, in the south of France. He moved to Paris in 1990, where he worked as a graphic designer in an advertising agency. In this period, he was an assistant of Olivier Cadiot – a French writer, poet, dramatist and translator. In the period from 2000 until 2004, Serra was an art director for Max magazine, and later, from 2004 till 2010 for Têtu magazine. He was also an artistic director of Bazar publishing house and la Gazette des jockeys camouflés review. Based in Europe, Marc-Antoine Serra is currently working between Marseille, Paris, and London.
Marc-Antoine Serra est un artiste français touche-à-tout – à la fois graphiste, directeur artistique, commissaire d’exposition, photographe, réalisateur et, à l’occasion, peintre. Serra est né en 1971, à Arles, dans le sud de la France. Il s’installe à Paris en 1990, où il travaille en tant que graphiste dans une agence de publicité.
